SHIR is a dynamic artist and songwriter hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona, whose musical journey was written in the stars. Born three and a half months premature, with her name meaning song in Hebrew, SHIR’s entrance into the world was nothing short of extraordinary. Her early life was marked by both challenge and resilience, with her twin brother facing a severe case of Cerebral Palsy, which deeply influenced her ability to empathize with others at a young age. At 14, SHIR picked up a guitar and began writing songs in her bedroom every day after school, laying the foundation for her unique sound.

After graduating from Belmont University’s Songwriting Program in Nashville in 2021, she relocated to Los Angeles. Her emotionally raw songwriting, inspired by artists like Julia Michaels and Sabrina Carpenter, captivates her audience and leaves them wanting more. Her debut single, "God For A Day," earned a Gold Level Prize in the Music City SongStar Competition and was a semi-finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition. Her third single, "Lifetime," reflects her parents’ love story.
